Swainston Mill and Cabinet Inc serves the Cache Valley and beyond. We install cabinets from Pocatello, Idaho to Salt Lake City, Utah. We take care of everything from cabinet design and construction to installation.

Every cabinet has been patiently hand-finished for a superior look that rivals that of fine furniture. 
Swainston custom cabinetry is engineered with ¾”materials, with every cabinet is bored, doweled and glued for dimensional stability and durability. Options for drawer boxes include dovetail joinery or steel construction. After monitoring our projects, our peers at the Architectural Woodworking Institute awarded us their prestigious “Quality Certification”. This certification is only given to woodworking shops that have demonstrated that they can consistently meet all of their high standards including workmanship and appropriate materials, construction methods and hardware.
To us, being a custom shop means that every cabinet is made to order. Nothing is made until we have your personal specifications on every detail. You specify virtually any wood species and the desired finish. We even offer custom finish matching. Perhaps you have favorite piece of furniture or a picture that inspires you……if you can imagine it, we can build it.

• Traditional wood species available include Birch, Maple, Cherry, Oak, Pine, Ash and Alder.
• Exotic woods species available include African Mahogany, Bird’s Eye Maple, Black American Walnut, Figured Anigre, Hickory, Pearwood, Santos Rosewood, Sapele Pommele, Teak, Wenge and Zebrawood.
• Other finishes available include lacquer paint, plastic laminate and thermofoils.
• Cabinetry is constructed of 3/4" material.
• Interiors of cabinets are finished in fired melamine in white or wood grain with natural maple veneer available as an option.
• Only top-quality hardware is used throughout.
• Drawer standard is both soft-close and self-closing 1/2” maple plywood with dovetailed joints or Euro-style metal sides.  5/8” Solid maple drawer sides are available.
• Shelving supports include a metal pin.
• Quality hardware is available from Amerock, Berenson, Belwith Keeler and Jeffery Alexander to name a few.  We excel at finding just the right knob, handle, accessory or mechanism.
• Countertops are available in quartz, granite, Corian, wood, stainless-steel and  plastic laminate.
